I love this outfit, I find it absolutely perfect for summer, and it had a really great vacation feel. These loose lightweight shorts are the perfect alternative to tight denim, the colors are fun and they are so comfortable.

Day 148.

Leaving for family vacation to Catalina Island, required some boat attire, that pretty much included my boat shoes, and a fedora. My siblings decided I looked more like I was going on safari, but I liked the cargo pants, opposed to jeans for something different, and I saw a woman at dinner the previous night who slightly cuffed her cargos at the ankle and really liked it!

I finally got the chiffon maxi skirt I've been daydreaming about since like March! I got it for only $14 from PacSun, and I suggested if you like maxi anythings at all, go but it now, its light and flowy and beautiful, and the greatest steal I've found all summer!

Day 146.

For starters, this white embroidered skirt is actually a dress, a normality for me, since I don't own too many skirts. This outfit makes me want to vacation in Greece, a girl can dream. Both the skirt and sweater are lightweight, so they're perfect for a warm summer day.

This is my idea of casual Friday, instead of jeans, I wanted to wear a comfortable knit dress, and bust out my favorite pair of  converse. To finish off the look I added my distressed denim jacket and my favorite binocular necklace!

This is a simple example of going from daytime to an evening look, not clubbing or anything, just out for some chinese. I wore one of my favorite basic v-necks with boot cut jeans and some flip flops to work, and to go to dinner I merely added a cardigan and a pendant necklace.

Day 142.

This look is all about the bright red clutch, I love all aspects of the outfit, the tribal top, chunky belt, and peep toe booties, but what makes it all look great is the pop of color. I actually got this clutch for free when renewing my teen vogue subscription, and never really thought much about it...silly me, but now I love it, and it's perfect for summertime!

Today I really wanted to focus on my new Jewelmint Encore necklace, I honestly found an outfit to wear it with. Since there is a lot of color and detail in the necklace, I wanted to wear a solid color underneath, and the neon orange really helped bring out the colors. Wearing my maxi t-shirt dress just helped to add the the bohemian look.

Day 140.

Rompers and jumpsuits are becoming more and more popular this season, and there really isn't anything simpler, when running around on a summer day. It's one piece, shirt, shorts, done; and super cute. I like the youthfulness of a floral pattern, and I added to the look with canvas mary janes.

My first time at the annual San Clemente ocean festival, called for real celebration... and a festive and memorable t-shirt. Spending the whole day at the beach called for nothing fancy, just some denim shorts and oversized shades, so I could see all the excitement!

Day 138.

A lot of people aren't really sure how they feel about the socks with sandals look, I'm personally loving it. I think it adds so much to a look even if you were just wearing a neutral colored sock. I was going for a slightly boyish look today, but I think the one thing this outfit could have used is an oxford button down underneath my sweater, I feel the collar showing really would have made the outfit.

Day 137.

I call today's look 'Everything but the kitchen sink,' I wasn't sure really where I was going with it, all I knew was I really wanted to wear that leopard/polka dot tank. Random choice, but once I thought about it, I was stuck on the idea. I didn't want to do the usual; tank, cardigan, jeans, so I opted for a sweater where only just a little of the print showed, just enough to make the look fun.

Day 136.

Stripes on stripes! I was never really a big fan of stripes, but this season I can't get enough of them, and today I wanted to get a little funky so I paired stripes with stripes. What I like about today's look is the stripes are very similar in color, obviously, gray and black, but the gray ones are much smaller, to give it some diversity. I went a little edgier buy wearing my combat boots instead of the usual gladiators, and had my leather jacket handy in case there was a breeze.

Today I was going for a bohemian, hippie look, and aside from my sister telling me I looked homeless, that's exactly how I felt. A loose flowy maxi dress underneath a knit poncho touched up with some tribal jewelry.

Two things I love put into one top, bright, neon color and I love me a boxy tee! This tee is cropped slightly, but it only shows a little bit of stomach, no baring too much. If I wasn't heading to the beach with my bathing suit underneath, I may wear a longer tank with it.

The simple basics of denim and stark white will never go out of style. I love wearing a solid white top, for some reason it always looks so clean and crisp to me, especially under the bright summer sun.

Skinny jeans and wedges, or any heels for that matter help make the legs look much longer and leaner. I paired that with a flowy tank top, because you don't necessarily want everything skin tight from head to toe, especially in the work place.

I decided today this is my favorite dress I've ever owned, I'm in love with it, I don't think I'll ever get over it. It was stored away for so long, now I just want to wear it everyday; the fit, the colors, the pattern, so lightweight, it may be perfect for me.

Close-up of the greatest wedges of all time. I lied when I said my other wedges were perfect, they're great, but these are like a gift. They are the most comfortable heels I've ever worn in my life, and everyone needs wedges this summer!

Day 129.

San Clemente is finally heating up, and all I want to wear is dresses. This dress is really flattering, because it cinches under the bust line, but to be appropriate at the office I have to throw on my denim jacket. Spice it up with a simple silver necklace, and let the floral pattern do all the rest of the work!

Went to a really cool river up in Chico, and after over a mile of a hike, all I wanted to do was dive in head first, but this is about as far as I got. This is probably going to be one of my frequent summer time looks, a lightweight v-neck and some denim shorts, along with this binocular necklace, that I've come to realize I am absolutely obsessed with!

I absolutely love love this tank top! The lace is great, and the way it cinches in the middle of your stomach makes it fit really flattering. It is still scorching hot up here in Gridley, CA so of course I just threw on some denim shorts and my unbelievably comfortable Sanuk yoga mat sandals.

Spent all of Saturday sitting in the 102 degree weather on set of a  a feature film, graduating again. My brother is directing a movie, and I got to be one of the numerous extras in a graduation scene. I'm not going to lie, there isn't really much fashionable about a royal blue cap and gown, but this is what I wore for the majority of the day!!

So my apologies Friday was a crazy busy day, and I completely forgot to take a photo before I changed into my scrub clothes after work and jumped in the car for 11 hours. I wore almost this exact same World Wildlife Fund Panda t-shirt, simply with a pair of jeans cuffed at the bottom and flip flops. Nothing is better than looking stylish and supporting a great cause.

Day 124.

Sort of dark colors for this time of year, but I really do love blacks and grays, and lace always plays a big role in looking stylish. Underneath this lace racerback I paired a solid gray tank, but for hanging out in the summer sun I would probably just wear the racer back with a bright colored bandeau top underneath and a pair of denim cut offs.
