Hi there! I'm Kirby!

Welcome to my blog! This is a daily dose of fashionable things from my personal style and good eats to beauty products and things to do!

Fall Toddler Activity.

Fall Toddler Activity.

Back again with another super easy at-home activity for your toddlers. This is such a fun fall activity for you and your little ones to enjoy, and your kiddo can even help with prep. While there’s still a few good weeks of fall left, get outside and enjoy the elements with your littles!

Fall Sensory Bin

Get your little one interacting with some natural fall elements, practicing their motor skills and just getting creative. My babe absolutely loves putting objects into vessels, so transferring acorns and mini pinecones from one bowl to another had him entertained for hours.

Your little one can also prep by taking direction to find things around yard or neighborhood while supervised. While Rowan is getting better, he still like to put a lot of things in his mouth to try em out for size, so he was only playing with the objects full supervised to avoid choking. And while I loved every minute of this activity, papa was still a little hesistant having so many small objects around, but buddy had lots of fun, and good or bad is pretty obsessed with acorns now.

What you Need:

  • bin or container - anything will do, I used this coffee table tray, but tupperware and old box, etc will do just fine to keep everything contained

  • bowls or vessels - miscellaneous bowls, cups, vessels for your little one to storage and transport objects

  • measuring spoons or cups - making for additional hand eye coordination practice

  • nature! - acorns, leaves, pinecones, twigs, rocks, bark, etc - acorns were the most fun for us!

  • other - also fun to add in small toy cars, and figurines like animals if your little one wants to get in on pretend play while they’re at it!
