Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend, I spent a little too much time in the sun at the lake with the family. Don't worry I'm sure you'll see the results of my sunburn sometime this week! Here is another Anthropologie jumpsuit I have been living in the past few weeks. As you know I'm a lover of most things blue and white and this lightweight, breezy piece is great for dressing up and down; of course my perfect look is wearing it casually paired with some fresh white sneakers for everyday style! It's a great piece because it reads like a midi dress and you can play around with how you style it either by layering a white t-shirt underneath for a 90s inspired look or belting the waist for a more structured silhouette.
Happy Summer! Summer is officially here and I have unofficially declared this look as my Summer uniform. I have been waiting to share this top for a couple weeks and am sorry to say the amazing succulent print version is completely sold out, but you can still shop it in other colors here. Since our move I have been quickly turning into a plant lady, with plants in every room and I just can't seem to get enough. The real question will be if I can even keep them alive throughout the rest of the season (so far so good). I randomly stumbled upon these wide leg jeans from Target while wandering around the Target way, and locally they were on sale for under $15 online they're under $30. They are extremely soft and so comfortable and of course I love the line of a high waisted pair of jeans. They paired perfectly with this top tucked in and of course I am all about a neck scarf right now, so I thought it completed this modern girl scout look.
I purchased this gorgeous, beaded dress on super sale at Anthropologie, like under $20 sale from an originally $200 price tag. I love all the beading around the neckline and fun, colorful print, but I also felt this dressier, cocktail dress was just too fabulous to only be worn for special occasions. I decided to style this look as casually as possible by pairing it with some everyday sandals and a daytime Summer bag for a weekend afternoon. I'm sure I'll one day wear this beauty to a special event, but you know I'll be wearing it quite a bit in the meantime!

Not only are all the pieces here great staples for this season, but all of them individually scream party to me! From the bold colors of this striped Yoins top, to the ruffle detail on these Elevenses pants (previously seen here) and edgy detail of the UO sunnies. I just feel like I want to go dancing or to a fun party in this look but it works for basically any time of day! I personally have a difficult time with off the shoulder tops, I keep trying but they always seem to be a little bit of a hassle and forget strapless bras. I love this one because the elastic is just tight enough at the top and around the arms it seriously does not budge so there is no fidgeting and pulling up your top all day! Total win, and it's under $15.
